ROBERT G. OKONAK, JR., CPA

CEO/SHAREHOLDER
Robby Okonak is the CEO and shareholder of the firm. Robby is originally from Lebanon, PA. He began with the firm in April 2005 after working for a regional public accounting firm in State College. Robby graduated from the Sigmund Wise School of Business at Susquehanna University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and also earned 3 varsity letters in basketball. Robby completed all requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania in August 2006 and became partner with the firm in 2007 alongside Fred Ciocca and John Benton. Robby aquired full ownership of the firm from Fred and John in 2011 and 2012. Robby is highly recommended in the area of partnership taxation and transaction/ownership structuring, with experience in many industries ranging from medical practices to commercial real estate. Robby is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Robby is involved with many non-profit and charitable organizations. He is the Chairman of the Finance Committee for the UPMC Altoona Foundation as well as a Trustee of the UPMC Altoona Foundation Board. Robby also serves as the Treasurer of the Altoona Area Baseball Association and is on the Finance Committee of Home Nursing Agency. He is a past President of the Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Robby lives in Altoona with his wife and three children.

ADAM M. LECHNER, CPA, CGMA

COO/SHAREHOLDER
Adam Lechner, born and raised in Bellwood, PA, started with the firm in August 2011, and became the COO/shareholder of the firm in May 2015. He completed the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in March 2007. Adam graduated from the Smeal College of Business of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He started in public accounting in the Pittsburgh area in 2004, and has worked in public and private accounting since moving back to the area in 2008. Adam has had significant experience in the manufacturing industry. Adam works closely with clients in varying industries, including farms, manufacturers, construction contractors and non-profit organizations. He has vast experience with cost accounting, complex computerized accounting systems, and estate income taxation. Adam is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Adam is a deacon at his local church in Bellwood and is active in various roles within the church body.

Adam lives in the Tipton area with his wife and two sons, and has a daughter that lives in the greater Pittsburgh area.

THOMAS K. (TK) DEAN, CPA, MBA

DIRECTOR
TK Dean is a Director for the firm. TK relocated to the area and started with the firm in September 2016 after 15 years of experience in both public and private accounting in Virginia. He graduated from Randolph Macon College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Accounting and was a three time All-Conference selection as a member of the football team. He received his Masters of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. TK completed the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in 2007.

TK started his career with a Big 4 accounting firm and spent almost ten years with one of Virginia’s largest regional CPA firms. TK’s experience has been focused on financial statement reporting and assurance, corporate and small business consulting, financial analysis and employee benefit plan audits with particular focus on manufacturing, agriculture, franchising, contractors, and retail and distribution industries. TK supports Robby and Adam in these areas as the firm looks to grow its assurance practice.

TK lives in Hollidaysburg with his wife and two young children and is excited to get involved in the area communities.

PATRICK J. CRAIG, CPA

MANAGER
Pat, a Bishop Guilfoyle graduate, started with the firm as a staff accountant in October 2012. Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Slippery Rock University in 2007, and also holds an MBA from Clarion University. He completed the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in December 2016.

He previously worked in Tipton, PA as controller of a large dry cleaning and linen rental service provider and also served a year as a sales and use tax auditor with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Pat supports Robby and Adam in any and all areas needed.

Pat lives in Altoona with his wife and daughter. Pat is an active board member with the Blair County Habitat for Humanity, serving as Treasurer.

MATTHEW J. STOYANOFF, CPA

STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Matt started with the firm in October 2012. Matt holds two bachelor's degrees from Mount Aloysius College: a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in criminology with a concentration in forensic accounting. He completed the requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in January 2016. Much like Pat, Matt helps support Robby and Adam.

Matt lives in Roaring Spring with his wife.

KAREN PFEFFER

STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Karen has been with us for 25 years! She started as a para-professional but has worked her way up to staff accountant. She has a wide variety of accounting skills including payroll, write-up work and bookkeeping. Karen is an important asset to our firm in all ways imaginable. She has built and continues to maintain very solid relationships with many clients.

LAURA TAYLOR

PAYROLL SPECIALIST/STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Laura started with us in December 2013 as our payroll specialist. She worked in that capacity with a regional accounting firm in State College for over 2 years. Laura holds an associate degree of applied sciences in business supervision and management as well as a Bachelor of Science in business accounting, all from Delaware Valley College. Laura is extremely efficient and hard working and brings a lot of flexibility to our team.

SHARI FRANKHAUSER

PARA-PROFESSIONAL
Shari has been with the firm since 2000. Shari holds an associate's degree in accounting from the Altoona School of Commerce currently known as South Hills School of Business & Technology. She is a para-professional that performs various tasks in the payroll, accounting and bookkeeping departments as well as administratively. She is also our point person in providing tax and other financial information to banks per client requests. Shari brings a lot to our team and keeps us informed and out of trouble as it relates to tax return due dates.

DIANNE BILLOTTE

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/PARA-PROFESSIONAL
Dianne started with us as an administrative assistant in 2007. She also works as a para-professional. Dianne maintains our digital database of important tax documents and work papers so they are easily accessible when they are needed. She adds a great dimension to our team from her experience at a high end women's clothing retailer in downtown Altoona.

 

FRED CIOCCA

RETIRED SHAREHOLDER - FIRM FOUNDER
Fred Ciocca retired in December 2011. He is still active with the firm and continues to work on a part time basis. Fred is a trusted and valuable mentor and is always available for counsel and advice. We are extremely thankful for the firm ethic Fred has instilled into the organization that continues to resonate in the quality of our work and client relationships.
